About us

Welcome to Närhälsan Sörhaga health center! Here, 25 dedicated employees work in various professional categories.

We currently have about 8,300 listed patients of different ages, and together we work to meet our patients' needs in the best possible way.

The health center is centrally located in Alingsås, adjacent to Alingsås hospital, and it takes about 40 minutes to travel from central Gothenburg to us. The train station is a few minutes' walk from the health center, and there is a bus stop right outside. If you drive, there are good parking opportunities that are also free. The health center is also near green areas, including Nolhaga park, which is perfect for lunch walks.

The health center has just hired a new manager and is now planning to hire more doctors, initially two new general practitioners. For those who enjoy being involved in influencing and developing, you now have a chance to apply for a job where you have great opportunities to help shape the future of the health center. A few years ago, Sörhaga health center in Alingsås had the best staffing of doctors, and we plan to get there again. About the job

Your tasks at the health center cover a wide range of responsibilities and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care. There is also the possibility to have your own area of responsibility, such as SÄBO, BVC, or FMA.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. An important part of our mission is to educate tomorrow's healthcare personnel, which means that supervision of ST and AT doctors as well as medical students is included in the role. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example, through continuous further education of ten days per year. There are great opportunities for you to influence your own calendar, and you can, for example, work from home with parts of your administration.

About you

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine and who is authorized to work within Swedish healthcare.

To thrive here, you should find it important and enjoyable to develop the operations and yourself. You have a good empathetic ability, are a team player, work in a structured manner, and for you, a professional approach is a given. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and collaboration skills. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, are a requirement for the position.
